Keep Your New Year's Resolutions!

by Laura C - 0 Comment(s)

Did you set New Year's Resolutions for 2014? How are you doing with them? Are you struggling? Still in the planning stages? Or are you already going strong?

No matter what stage you are in, we have some great resources in our E-Library that will help you accomplish your goals.

Not only will these resources help you make concrete plans for your year, but you can do it RIGHT NOW from the comfort of your own home! You don't even have to change out of your pajamas (unless you've made a resolution to stop wearing your pajamas all the time).

HEALTH & WELLNESS RESOURCE CENTER

This resource can help you with your health related resolutions. This is an easy-to-use, all-encompassing health resource which even includes articles on setting and keeping goals.

You can also search for articles on weight loss, fitness, managing your stress or quitting smoking. Learn more about your prescription medications or, even do some supplementary research on managing an illness or disease you've been diagnosed with.

LEARN4LIFE

This is a dynamite resource to help you succeed with nearly every New Year's Resolution you can dream up.

LEARN4LIFE features instructor-led online classes in subjects, including: Weight Loss, Personal Finance, Writing, Drawing, Job Search Help, Personal Enrichment, Starting a Business, Gardening, and Technology (to name a few).

WHAT DO I READ NEXT?

"Read more" is often on my list of yearly resolutions, I hope it's on yours as well. If it is, you should try this fun reading-suggestion generator.

If you know you like a particular author or genre, this database will give you lists of similar titles that you might like. You can even search for books by character, topic, setting location, and time period.

FREADING

Allows you to download Ebooks and pdfs to read on your computer or mobile device. This resource includes a number of interesting non-fiction titles to help you be more creative, to get organized, to start a business, to be more "green", to become more socially conscious and more.

Try searching the words "How To" and see how much you can do this year, and maybe even get ideas for next year!
