    Provides the same authoritative content as the print encyclopedia, and also includes the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus, and the Britannica Book of the Year. Britannica Online contains more than 118,000 articles as well as thousands of photos, illustrations, sound files and interactive multimedia. Links to websites that have been reviewed and rated by Britannica editors appear in many articles, as do links to magazine articles. Access is provided to 2000 video clips from the Britannica archives. Articles can be saved to a workspace where research can be collected and returned to later.
