Also included is USP Pharmacopoeia DI: Volume II Advice for the Lay Patient and Stedman's Medical Dictionary.

    offers access to nearly 550 full text journals (many peer reviewed) dealing with a vast array of medical specialties. Abstracts and indexing are also available for approximately 850 journals. This database also contains the Lexi-PALS information for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new drugs and a medical dictionary.

    Created by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, Medline contains over 14 million bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 4800 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries dating back to the mid-1960's. Coverage is worldwide. Most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. Medline is useful for finding authoritative articles and for information that has not yet been published in more popular sources. It is also a useful resource to see if there have been any scientific studies on a specific health-related topic.
