ENJOY DOWNLOADABLE AUDIOBOOKS AND

• No late fees ! These audiobooks expire automatically. No check-in required!

• Unlimited number of copies of every audiobook. There is no need to wait for a book to come back or to place a hold.

• Preview audiobooks before you create your account or borrow an audiobook.

• Borrow a maximum of 10 audiobooks on your library card.  

• Enjoy audiobooks for 21 days. No need to check audiobook in or return it. (After 21 days you you cannot play the file but the file remains on your computer or portable listening device until you manually delete it.)

• You can renew downloadable audiobooks once.

• Use the audiobooks in your car if you have an FM audio adapter for your portable listening device or your car has an auxiliary plug.

• Choose from Radio Quality or CD Quality sound. (When playing on a portable listening device use the CD Quality download.)

• Learning English? There are audiobooks helpful to 15 different language groups who are learning English.

CURRENT LIMITATIONS

• At this time, NetLibrary audiobooks will not play on Mac computers or iPods because of the digital rights management (DRM) software required by book publishers.

• DRM software protects the publisher's content in a library where items are borrowed and not purchased. The digital rights management software also causes the file to expire 21 days after it is checked out.

• These audiobook cannot be burned CD. (If you do burn it, the audiobook will not be playable.)

• Audiobook downloads are not available from public library computers at this time.
