Donna L. Campbell: Donna has served on the Calgary Board since 1999 and currently sits on the
Services & Facilities Committee. In 2003 Donna was elected President of the Alberta Library Trustees Association.
She holds a graduate degree in Library and Information Science as well as an MBA. Giving back to the community is important
to Donna who also contributes to a number of other organizations including the Rotary Club of Calgary, the Calgary Zoo and
Vertigo Mystery Theatre.

Alderman Joe Ceci, MSW: Joe Ceci was elected to his fourth term as Alderman for Ward 9 in October 2004. Prior to his election
to Council in 1995, Joe worked for 15 years in a variety of social work roles, including Community Worker for the City of Calgary,
East Area Office.
It was there at the ground level, working with people to build community and resolving issues, that Joe was inspired to run
for political office, speaking out for the disenfranchised and having a voice in the decision making at the City Hall.
Ten years in office now and Joe continues to lead and inspire and challenge the status quo.
In keeping with his commitment to serve Ward 9, Joe currently works on 18 civic boards and committees.
Joe joined the Calgary Public Library Board in 2005, and sits on the Finance & Personnel Committee.

Ann Craig: Ann believes the Calgary Public Library is second to none, and plans on keeping it that way.
Ann was appointed to the Library Board in 2002, and sits on the Finance & Personnel Committee. She has spent many years
working with special education students with the Calgary Board of Education, and now works in the
Colonel Macleod Elementary Junior High School's library.

Alderman Linda Fox-Mellway: Linda is serving her fifth term as Alderman for Ward 14.
She has a strong and diverse business background in project management and business development. In the Calgary community,
she has spearheaded a number of unique special projects, is past president of her community association and has been elected
representative to many boards and committees. Linda was awarded the Governor General’s Commemorative Medal for the
125th Anniversary of Confederation and the Alberta Centennial Silver Medallion in recognition of her significant volunteer
contribution, plus an Outstanding Service Award from the Calgary Public Library for her extraordinary efforts.
Linda was appointed to the Board in 2001, and sits on the Services & Facilities Committee.
One of Linda’s primary goals is to ensure, through long-range planning, that library services are available to all Calgarians.

Denyce Lundeen: Denyce is the co-founder of DGL Software Services Ltd. and Gas & Oil Accounting (1988) Ltd.,
which have been providing accounting software development and accounting consulting services to the petroleum industry since 1979.
She has CGA and BA degrees. Denyce has been an active volunteer, including nine years on the board of The Calgary Zoo as
Secretary-Treasurer and Chair of Finance Committee; four years on the Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting Board;
and numerous other board positions for public and non-profit organizations. Denyce was appointed to the Calgary Public Library Board
in 2007.

Jamie Niessen: Appointed to the Board, in 2006, Jamie sits on the Services & Facilities Committee. Jamie is
the Manager of Community Investment for TransCanada Corporation, one of North America's leading energy infrastructure
companies. Jamie has also worked producing TV and interactive media at The Banff Centre,
as PR manager for a computer hardware manufacturer in Montreal, with the federal government in Ottawa and with a
major art gallery and the municipal government in Halifax. Jamie was selected among the "Top 40 Under 40" in
Calgary by Calgary Inc. magazine in 2003.

Terry O'Grady: Terry is President and CEO of Airstate Ltd., which invests capital in real estate ventures,
develops its own real estate, and owns and manages a large real estate portfolio, predominantly industrial and office space.
Terry was appointed to the Board in October 2006 and currently sits on the Finance and Personnel Committee. Terry has spent
the last 30 years in the development industry. His expertise in this area includes development of land, industrial, office,
retail and multifamily buildings, syndication and asset management. Terry has served as a director, chairperson, board member
or volunteer for a number of diverse boards including development related organizations, the arts, sports and
the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.

Laura Sugimoto: A lawyer in corporate practice in Calgary since 1979, and currently Associate General Counsel for
the Calgary Health Region, Laura was appointed to the Board in 2001. She is the Board Vice-Chair and the Chair of the
Services and Facilities Committee. Laura is also active in a number of other educational and professional organizations.

Judith Umbach: Judith was appointed to the Board in 2000. Judith is the Board Chair, and she also sits on the
Finance and Personnel Committee. Judith writes the "Planning for Information Technology" column for the
Canadian Library Association magazine, Feliciter. In 2005, Judith's library work was recognized with
the Alberta Library Trustees Association Honorary Life Membership Award.

Graham Wetter: Graham is the President and CEO of Credit Union Central Alberta Limited.
He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Law degrees from the University of Calgary, and is a member of the Alberta Bar.
As a skilled facilitator, consensus builder, and strategist, Graham
has experience in dealing with a diverse range of interest groups in addressing complex business issues and
the development of effective strategies. Graham was appointed to the Board in 2003, and is chair of the
Finance & Personnel Committee.

Gerry Meek: Gerry joined the Calgary Public Library in 1991 as Director. Under Gerry's leadership,
the Calgary Public Library has become the busiest, most effective, and economically run public library of its size in Canada.
In Gerry's words: "Public libraries have become the search and knowledge engines of our time. They are local, familiar,
and inviting presences that provide a gateway to the world. They give us local access to global storage".
