ESL: Learn English at the Library

• ESL Conversation Clubs
Practice your English listening and speaking skills in group discussions with volunteer coaches. Call 260-2703 for locations and times of the ESL Conversation Club.

• Library Tours for New Canadians
Tours can be arranged by calling your local Library branch.

• The Homework Club
The Homework Club offers help with English and school work for immigrant teens after school at several branch libraries. Call the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (telephone: 263-0643) for details, or check the branch library pages for program information.

English as a Second Language classes offered at all levels. The "Bridge Program" helps new Canadians who wish to move from ESL classes to academic upgrading. "English for Work" is a program which combines English classes with a practical work placement.
