We have the largest collection of career resources in the city. Whether you need help with job searching, resume writing, or interview skills, Library staff can help you work towards a career suited to your goals.

Computers with Internet and Microsoft Office

Internet service and computer use is included in your yearly membership and is available at all Library branches. We also have free wireless access – bring your laptop! Our computers also offer Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)

Diversity Services

Our Diversity Services department provides culturally-sensitive, barrier-free collections, programs, services and facilities to support the development of Calgarians of all ages, abilities and origins.

Living Library

The Living Library works like your local library, however, the books you borrow are "Living Books" — volunteers who share stories about their personal experiences.

Moving to a new country is a big change. Find resources to help learn English or French, about Canada, and Canadian citizenship.

Programs and Events

We have a wide range of free children and adult programs. From baby storytimes to 50+ Coffee Times, there's something for everything you're into.
